Some of the talented filmmakers who
work on Split Screen:
Maggie Hadleigh-West
Maggie Hadleigh-West's documentary War Zone investigates public harassment
of
women from the first-person POV - she literally turns the lens of her
camera
on her harassers in the same way they turn their aggression on her. War
Zone
has had festival and theatrical runs around the world, including the 1998
Berlin International Film Festival. Her work on street abuse has made her
a
regular commentator on the press and academic circuits. Hadleigh-West is
currently working on several narrative and documentary projects, including
Breaking and Entering, a feature-length film about a woman raped by a boy
who's escaped from juvenile jail.
